smart-TEC GmbH has been an active member of the IDTA since January 2023. The IDTA is a powerful alliance that actively and innovatively shapes the future of digital twins.
smart-TEC is pleased to join this select circle of industry, universities and research institutes. We would like to support the association with our many years of experience in innovative labelling solutions, especially using QR codes and RFID/NFC technology. RFID and NFC technology are the most important interdisciplinary technologies in the context of Industry 4.0.
Florian Geith, Key Account Manager for the chemical and process industry represents smart-TEC at the IDTA. He is actively involved in the association’s various working groups and supports them with his in-depth RFID and NFC know-how.
At the same time, Florian Geith is also a working member of the DDCC, the Digital Data Chain Consortium, which has set itself the task of further developing the national standards DIN SPEC 91406 and VDI Guideline 2770 into international ISO/IEC standards. Moreover, the DDCC also focuses on the development of a cloud-based information platform in order to provide digital manufacturer information.
Participation in both associations provides a far-reaching overview of the industry and ensures that smart-TEC remains in touch with the latest trends.
“I am convinced that joining the IDTA will only bring benefits for smart-TEC. We can learn a lot as a company, but also share our knowledge about innovative labelling systems, especially in the areas of RFID and NFC. Being part of this powerful community provides smart-TEC with many advantages and we pass these on to our customers,” explains Klaus Dargahi, CEO of smart-TEC.
