smart-WRIST packages RFID technology in to a comfortable and re-usable armband. The chip is coated in a specially designed plastic material (ROYALPLAST®) which provides a tough housing for the tag, whilst having a smooth and pleasant finish. The shape and form of the tag can be designed according to customer requirements. The armbands are available in a range of materials (plastic, leather, textile, etc.) together with a variety of fastners (velcro, press stud, tamperproof, etc.).

The Kärntener Komfort Burgstaller camp site is situated right by the Millstätter lake in Austria. The site’s owners wanted to improve security on the site by controlling access in a way that would be efficient for them and involve no extra hassle for the visitors. The solution was the smart-WRIST. Visitors to the camp site are now issued with an armband upon arrival. The information on the tag’s chip is used to gain access to the camp site and the adjacent beach.
