The industrial tags from smart-TEC are also available in dual frequency RFID/NFC technology. This combines two RFID frequencies in one industrial transponder: Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and High Frequency (HF) or Near Field Communication (NFC) - all in a single chip.
The dual frequency RFID/NFC chip enables communication with UHF readers for long ranges, but also with mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets for interaction at close range using NFC technology.
By sharing the extensive variable chip memory and a common one-to-one chip ID, seamless storage and retrieval of data on the chip is made possible - regardless of the frequency used.
Our industrial tags with integrated dual frequency technology are suitable for the harshest environmental conditions, such as waste water, dirt, mud, heat or cold, and can be attached to any surface using mounting holes, cable ties, magnets and special adhesive systems. The additional explosion protection certification of our industrial tags enables them to be used in potentially explosive environments.
