smart-TEC presents the new generation of the smart-DOME Freestyle 3010 UHF

With a comprehensive product update, smart-TEC is launching the next generation of its industrial transponder smart-DOME Freestyle 3010 UHF. The compact RFID tag with a diameter of 30 mm, a height of 10 mm and a central mounting hole has been specially developed for demanding industrial applications.

The new UHF chip generation offers optimized radio characteristics and an extended user memory of 512 bits. Despite its compact design, the OnMetal tag achieves ranges of approx. 2 to 4 meters - depending on the application and system environment. The smart-DOME 3010 UHF impresses with its high performance, especially on metallic surfaces.

The versatile industrial tag supports different mounting methods such as magnetic fixing, screwing or gluing. The RFID/NFC tag is manufactured at the plant in Mindelheim, Allgäu. The robust PU (polyurethane) housing is characterized by high mechanical resilience, autoclavability and excellent resistance to liquids such as water, salt water, sulphuric acid, sodium hydroxide, ethylene glycol and engine oil.

In addition, the smart-DOME Freestyle 3010 is available in various colors as well as with customized printing or laser engraving. ATEX-certified variants and ROHS/WEEE-compliant versions are also available as options. In addition to UHF, the tag is also available for the HF and LF frequency ranges.
