03.04.2023smart-TEC presents diverse RFID & NFC product portfolio - focus on the digital type plate.
AIM joint stand, hall 2/stand 17b

Hands-on Innovation is the motto of this year's LogiMAT (international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management), which will open its doors to trade visitors and interested parties from April 25 - 27, 2023. The leading international trade fair offers a complete market overview and expert knowledge transfer. The focus will be on the following topics: How should companies handle the raw material of the future - data - efficiently and securely? How should the interfaces between skilled workers, production equipment and intelligent robot assistants be defined in order to optimize workplaces? How can virtual worlds cover the decisive scenarios that show concrete paths ahead?
smart-TEC presented a diverse and innovative portfolio of RFID & NFC transponders at the AIM joint stand (hall 2/stand 17b). The range extends from self-adhesive, programmed and printed RFID and NFC labels to robust, durable, weather- and temperature-resistant RFID and NFC transponders for industrial applications.
A special focus this year is on the digital nameplate with integrated RFID/NFC technology. "The digital twin" is an important topic throughout the manufacturing industry in the context of Industry 4.0 and IoT. A digital twin is the digital representation of a physically existing object, machine or tool in the digital world.

A highlight that you should not miss: At the AIM-ident expert forum, Sebastian Grüttner, Business Development Manager at smart-TEC, will give an interesting presentation on an NFC project realized by smart-TEC at Dorma Hüppe:
Dorma Hüppe relies on digital identification of its mobile partition wall systems with NFC transponders from smart-TEC. The object-specific SAP and item number is programmed into the NFC chip, allowing the product to be directly identified and clearly assigned. The major advantages of upgrading to NFC technology are the globally unique identification of the partition walls using a globally unique chip identification number, fast and unbureaucratic contact with the service team, always up-to-date maintenance statuses and direct access to additional documents such as operating instructions and care instructions. How was this implemented in practice? Sebastian Grüttner will give you the answer in his presentation.
