smart-TEC celebrates 75th anniversary of parent company RATHGEBER

2023 marks a special milestone in the history of RATHGEBER, the parent company of smart-TEC: we are celebrating our 75th anniversary! For seventy-five years, we have faced challenges, driven innovation and celebrated successes. But above all, this anniversary symbolizes what smart-TEC and Rathgeber have always stood for: a strong sense of social and ecological responsibility.

In order to do justice to this important anniversary, a series of team events took place in the summer, during which employees got involved in various social and ecological projects. These events were planned, organized and carried out independently by the Rathgeber and smart-TEC teams. In doing so, they not only demonstrated their skills, but also showed how deeply rooted our corporate values are.The smart-TEC team took on the task of cleaning up two natural ponds in Oberhaching. These natural ponds were created by local companies as a compensatory measure for earthmoving in the surrounding areas.A natural pond must be maintained and thoroughly cleaned every five years

The smart-TEC team completed this task with rubber boots, shovels, wheelbarrows and a lot of enthusiasm. The ponds were cleared of grass, reeds and other plants. Mud, stones and garbage that had accumulated over the years were removed. It was great fun for everyone and returned a valuable habitat to nature and the animals that spawn, nest and live there. Expert help was provided by the Oberhaching Nature Conservation Association, which took care of these natural ponds.

The managing directors Andrea and Andreas Schrägle personally supported the initiatives and provided the necessary resources. "These events are a living expression of the values that have characterized RATHGEBER for 75 years," says Andreas Schrägle. Andrea Schrägle adds: "We are proud of our teams and of the fact that we can make a positive contribution together."

The 75th anniversary is not just a look back at the company's past history, but also a promise for the future: a promise to continue to act with integrity, responsibility and commitment.
