Part 3: Sustainable management
05.05.2025Sustainability doesn't just apply to production - there are also many ways to work more resource-efficiently in the office and in administration. Here are a few examples:

Our measures for a greener administration
- Paper saving made easy: We have abolished pre-printed stationery and rely on digital documents instead. This saves up to 120 sheets of paper a day in our administration - a small step with a big impact.
- Efficient printers: Our new office printing systems require 75% less electricity than their predecessors. This significantly reduces our energy consumption.
- Reusable instead of disposable: All employees have been given stainless steel bottles to avoid disposable plastic bottles. There are also water dispensers that purify tap water.
These small but effective measures show that sustainability starts everywhere - even where you might not immediately expect it.
For you, this means: efficient and sustainable business processing that not only conserves resources, but also simplifies processes in the long term.
In addition, there are numerous and varied sustainable approaches and measures at the individual sites in administration and production. These range from the use of renewable energies such as geothermal energy and well cooling to charging infrastructure with photovoltaic systems.

Detailed information and further examples can be found in our sustainability report.
In the next part of our series on sustainability in the product life cycle, we take a look at recycling and disposal.
