Andreas Schrägle, Managing Director of RATHGEBER, accepts the prize of the SDG Pioneer Competition 2024 in New York.

In September 2024, the UN Global Compact appointed twelve new SDG Pioneers - entrepreneurs and employees who stand out for their commitment to implementing the ten principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, the environment, labor standards and anti-corruption, thereby advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

One of these pioneers is Andreas Schrägle, Managing Director of RATHGEBER GmbH & Co KG. The SDG Pioneers program recognizes experts who contribute to achieving the SDGs by 2030 through innovative approaches and business models. The award winners come from different regions around the world. Sanda Ojiambo, CEO of the UN Global Compact, emphasized the role model function of these pioneers. The UN Global Compact is the largest sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 20,000 participating companies.
