Pipe marking 4.0: smart-TEC digitizes DIN 2403

The clear and permanent identification of pipes is a key factor for the safe and efficient operation of industrial systems. With the integration of RFID technology, smart-TEC is adding a digital level to classic pipe marking in accordance with DIN 2403 - and thus creating additional transparency, efficiency and process reliability.

The RFID-based solutions enable contactless identification of pipes - reliably even under extreme conditions such as high temperatures, heavy soiling or chemical stress. The specially developed smart-LABEL transponders are optimized for metallic surfaces, particularly robust and can be individually printed, programmed and seamlessly integrated into existing systems

The combination of visual identification and digitally stored data creates an intelligent, multi-layered information structure: while color coding and pictograms ensure immediate security, RFID data enables fast identification, seamless documentation and direct connection to ERP, maintenance and IoT systems.
