What kind of a world do we want to live in? This is a question which has long been the main focus at RATHGEBER and smart-TEC. For ecology and economy are closely interlinked: Environmentally friendly business practices not only protect the climate but, in the end, protect jobs too. “Ultimately it is our job not only to safeguard livelihoods but rather also to bear the social aspects in mind,” explains Andreas Schrägle, Managing Partner of RATHGEBER. For this reason the RATHGEBER Group has for more than ten years now already been operating in a completely climate-neutral manner in all of its business areas and locations.

smart-TEC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of RATHGEBER, has been a completely climate-neutral company since 2010. The administration and production departments have switched to low-CO₂ processes. Unavoidable amounts of harmful substances are offset by supporting climate protection projects with the voluntary purchase of official CO₂ certificates.
