WEEE Take-back Concept
Our RFID/NFC transponders fall under the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) as well as the European WEEE Directive and may therefore not be disposed of along with normal household waste. They must instead be properly recycled. However, as our customer you do not incur any additional expenses, because you can return RFID/NFC transponders manufactured and supplied by smart-TEC to us for proper recycling. We give you our assurance that the returned RFID/NFC transponders will be recycled in a professional and environmentally friendly manner. Our WEEE registration ID is DE 48886082.
Please follow the steps below to return RFID/NFC transponders that we have supplied to you:
1. Please inform us in advance by telephone or email of the RFID/NFC transponders that we delivered to you and now want to return to us. Please state our item number and date of delivery.
2. Please note that you may only return the RFID/NFC transponders in the same form as we supplied them. Therefore, please separate the RFID/NFC transponders from the item they were used to label.
3. Delete the complete content of all RFID/NFC transponder chips before dispatching them.
4. Please carefully and fully complete the WEEE return form and enclose it with your returned items.
5. Please carefully and properly package your RFID/NFC transponders and send them to the following address:
